A Weekend in London
Hello! My name is Emma. I am from France, and I am visiting London this weekend with my friend Lisa.
On Saturday morning, we get up at 8:00. We have breakfast at our hotel. I have tea and toast. Lisa has coffee and a croissant.
After breakfast, we take the bus to the city center. First, we visit Buckingham Palace. There are many tourists there. We take some photos of the palace and the guards.
At 12:30, we have lunch in a small café. I eat a cheese sandwich and Lisa has a salad. The food is good but a little expensive.
In the afternoon, we go to the British Museum. It's free to enter! We see many interesting things from different countries. My favorite is the Egyptian mummies.
Later, we walk in Hyde Park. The weather is nice and sunny. There are people riding bikes and having picnics.
In the evening, we have dinner in a restaurant in Chinatown. We eat Chinese food. It's delicious!
On Sunday, we go shopping on Oxford Street. I buy a T-shirt and a small gift for my mother.
Our train leaves at 5:00 pm. We are tired but happy. London is a beautiful city!
